Event: East-West Express: Connecting Cultures Date: Wed, November 16, 2016 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM CST Location: UNO Alumni Center Ballroom
Please join us in welcoming the “Walk in U.S., Talk on Japan” delegation sponsored by the Prime Minister of Japan’s Office. Since 2014, delegations from Japan have been visiting various regions of the U.S., to share stories of Japan today through grassroots exchange. Participants from Japan hail from a diverse range of backgrounds, and take part in exchanges with local communities, discussing important factors of the future U.S.-Japan relationships as well as recent positive developments in Japan.
Hosted by the University of New Orleans Division of International Education, the Japan Club of New Orleans, and the Japan Society of New Orleans, this special event will be held on the UNO campus in the Homer L. Hitt Alumni Center Ballroom (2F).
