The Asian-Pacific American Society and APAS Toastmasters Club invite the members and friends of APAS to a Pre-Gala evening of hospitality and to meet our special guest who is visiting New Orleans from Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia and attending the Toastmasters District 68 conference


Mr. John Lau, Toastmasters International President, 2012-2013

Mr. Lau is the chief executive and owner of the Acme Group of Companies, a management consultancy.  He is also Sarawak State Chairman of the People's Progressive Party of Malaysia.  This past January, he was one of 17 people appointed by the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau as Kesatria Malaysia (meaning "Knight of Malaysia") to help develop the country's business industry.

He's come a long way from Malaysia, let's make him feel at home. Dress is casual, and there'll be food and friends.
